TIN TENTS
Clean and very comfortable, our 3 Tin Tents are bright and cheerful and an ideal alternative to being under canvas!
Tin Ten 1 sleeps up to 2 people and our larger Tin Tents 2 & 3 sleeps up to 3.
The Tin Tents both have a small kitchen area which have a gas oven and hob, a fridge, and storage cupboards for your essentials. Please note there is no water to the Tin Tents. Although there are sinks in the kitchens we ask that you do not use these but rather the sink in the communal outdoor kitchen area. We provide basic cooking utensils for your use.
The cosy and very comfortable living areas convert easily to beds for a relaxing night's sleep. We can provide base sheets with pillows and sleeping bags should you require. The Tin Tents are heated. There are separate bathroom/storage area for your clothes etc. Unfortunately the shower and toilet inside the Tin Tents are not in use. Instead guests have access to exclusive use of their own toilet, shower & shared washing up facilities in the adjacent amenities block.
"Sasha and her family gave us a warm welcome to their beautiful site. We had everything we needed and more, the pool room was great and we made use of the under cover BBQ area with a little jetty onto the pond. The tin tent was comfy, cosy and well equipped providing all we needed for a three night stay. Sasha was extremely helpful as our car broke down, offering us information about local transport and even a lift into town. Sasha helped us make the most out our trip and we had a wonderful time despite our car trouble. I would absolutely recommend a visit as the location is perfect for exploring the north coast. We loved it so much we are planning to return as there is so much to see. Thanks to Sasha and her family".
"We can’t recommend here highly enough. The apartment is spacious and has loads of great books, puzzles and DVDs. And the grounds and location are absolutely stunning and a real taste of rural Scotland. The host family are very helpful and friendly and we wished we could have spent more time here exploring"!
"The Tin Tent was an absolute delight. I would stay here again with a second thought and recommend to anyone passing! My boyfriend and I were cycling JOGLE and stayed here on our way through. The value for money is just unbelievable. It’s super clean, the facilities are sparkling!! Sasha and her family are brilliant hosts, clearly genuinely lovely people! We ate a 2 course meal off the menu for £9 and the food was just perfect. We opted for the cottage pie and there was plenty of it too! For pud - cake, just what got we needed. The breakfast choices were great - I had eggs and cereal and my boyfriend had a full English which he said was great too! Thanks for the stay Sasha, I hope our travels bring us back to pond side because I would love to stay again"!
